Who goes to a crab restaurant and doesn’t eat crab? We do, apparently. In our defence, we had vouchers that were due to expire, and we couldn’t find dinner buddies at the last minute, so it was just the two of us, as usual.
金銀蛋時蔬 // Poached seasonal vegetables with preserved egg and salted egg. With much-needed 汁 (sauce) to counter all that crispy crunchy goodness to come later!
新加坡麥皮蝦 // Singapore-style cereal prawns. This didn’t quite live up to expectations. It lacked the spices and flavours that would have really made it “Singapore-style”. It wasn’t a bad dish or anything, and I had been having such a craving. It’s not easy to find in Hong Kong, so I’ll take what I can get!
百味豆腐 // Crispy tofu. MY FAVOURITE!!! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, lots of flavour in every bite… YUM! #gonein60seconds
That was it! Now I just have to round up a few more food lovers and head back to dive into gloriously garlicky crabs!
I’m coming for you.
