Let’s get started on the Great British Dining Series!
I was planning on putting it all into one long post, but then it’s been put off in its entirety until now. If I were ever going to get around doing it, the only way is to write about these places individually with the pockets of free time that I have. Bite-sized posts are probably easier to digest anyway (puns fully intended).
What I love about London is that many of these restaurants, attractions, and stores are all within walking distance of each other. Our Airbnb apartment was smack in the middle of it all, so it was incredibly convenient. We headed to the Riding House Café for a quick brunch before spending our day at the British Museum.
Chorizo hash brown with mushrooms and poached eggs. This makes me look forward to the next time we’ll get to have brunch. Hmm… Christmas, maybe?
Eggs Royale, i.e. Eggs Benedict but with smoked salmon instead of ham. Check out that Hollandaise sauce! Liquid sunshine…
Hot mocha to round out the meal.
That’s all for now! The next few posts will probably be longer, but I just wanted to get the ball rolling with this one. Watch this space!
